an album of poppy jazz fusion-y tunes!

this album actually came together very strangely... it's an amalgamation of 3 separate projects that i was working on that soon came together. despite that, i view this album as a suite of "pairs" that contrast each other (aside from pocket change - oh well!) i don't think i was aware of this kind of pairing when i began writing it - but it's led to distinct little groups that give this album an interesting shape and arc.

though, i think ive let go of any coherence or focused tone in an album like this, and let it be what it seemed like it always wanted to be - an eclectic jumble of interesting groovy soundscapes. in any case - please enjoy "moonshine"!
